One of the hallmarks of Satan’s workings is to assail the very atonement which Jesus Christ came to this earth to accomplish for sinners. Take a look at very popular lies people are falling for everywhere. These lies are approved by Oprah Winfrey among others. Through her likeable personality she deceives millions who do not know the Word of God and who fall for her winsome presentations:

THE TRUTH:

“In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us
and sent his Son to be the atonement for our sins.”

“…without shedding of blood there is no remission.” (This says it all!)

The message that Oprah Winfrey and her many New Age guests present is that we don’t need “the old rugged cross” – that we don’t need the atonement Jesus Christ accomplished for us at the tremendous price he paid.

“Therefore whoever confesses me before men,
him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven.
But whoever denies me before men,
him I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven.”
Matthew 10:32-33

With her message denying the necessity of “the old rugged cross,” she has “trampled the Son of God underfoot,” and she has sealed her fate. She, along with her New Age guests are responsible for the corruption of millions whose fate will be the same by having received her Christ-less message.
