“As you sent me into the world,
I also have sent them into the world.”
John 17:18

Many believers do not realize that they have been SENT by the Lord Jesus Christ. Sent to bring the message of Jesus to a lost and dying world.

“And he said to them, ‘Go into all the world
and preach the Gospel to every creature.”
Mark 16:15

This is “The Great Commission,” the words the risen Christ said to his followers just before he ascended into heaven. When you read this and other passages like it, do you take it seriously, or do you think he’s speaking only to those who have the courage, the self-confidence to obey it? No, he is speaking to us all. We have a unique responsibility, commissioned by the Lord Jesus Christ himself.

“He who is not with me is against me,
and he who does not gather with me scatters.”
Luke 11:23

Friends, we are in the last of the last days. All the signs Jesus told us to watch for are happening right before our eyes. The end of the age is imminent and we simply do not have time to waste, we MUST be about our Father’s business.

It is an unparalleled privilege to have been born in this generation. This age carries the same importance as the first one did at Pentecost …and the same responsibilities. We who have had the privilege of being called to salvation by the Lord Jesus Christ, now carry the responsibility to bring this same message to all. We can actually have an effect from time – upon eternity. We can have an effect on the eternal fate of human beings who have not yet had their names written in The Lamb’s Book Of Life. This is a responsibility we have to take very, very seriously, as it can make all the difference to all who will receive our message.

“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ,
AS THOUGH GOD WERE PLEADING THROUGH US:
‘We implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.’”
2nd Corinthians 5:20

One more thought to complete this message – there is another group of people whose fate we can have an effect on, and that’s on those who will be left behind when the Rapture takes place. Can you imagine the horror when one realizes that the Rapture doctrine was true and has taken place …and he was not taken? In shock, he will be overwhelmed with fear and dread. Friends, we can help this group of people even from this side of the Rapture. We can tell everyone now, in time, so that when it happens, those left behind will understand what took place. We can leave resources for them to guide them into making the right decisions concerning what they are to do and not do in order to be saved.

Leave behind books and tracts. Leave them where they can be found later by those left behind. Give copies to family and friends so that they may do the same. Let us do all within our power to reach out to these frightened and desperate people that they might know that they still have the opportunity to come to Christ and be saved. They must know that they are not to take the mark of the Antichrist because anyone taking that mark forfeits all hope of salvation (Revelation 19:20.) They need to understand the situation and have guidance in how to proceed. We can make that available to them.

And above all, we can pray. Pray for opened eyes and opened hearts to receive the message of Christ that they might be saved whether it be before or after the Rapture. Truly, we can impact the lives of all who will listen. Pray that it be so. Pray as you’ve never prayed before. Time is short.
